ICE Transfers from Abbeville

ODLS does not cover minors and can omit or lag some cases. Variations in name order, spacing, accents, transliteration, or birth data can prevent a match. A no-result is therefore not proof of release.

Recent ICE Release Scope

ICE guidance states that ODLS covers current detainees and people released from ICE custody within the preceding 60 days. That recent-release window differs from a permanent historical archive. Once the window passes, an old release may no longer be discoverable through the same public search route.

An ICE custody exit may come with reporting duties or a court process. The locator does not explain every legal obligation. Describe only the custody status shown and seek the appropriate official record for more context.

ICE System Contact Route

This is a nationwide system, not a verified Abbeville County facility. No local ICE address, visitation desk, or release counter should be invented. Use ODLS and the official ICE detention information resources to identify the relevant facility or office.

The sound conclusion is narrow: the county documented a transfer, ICE reported detention, or ICE reported a recent release. State the source and date. If no official channel confirms the next step, say the status could not be verified rather than assuming the person is free or confined.
